Reduction Of Services At Some Mesa Ranger District Recreation Sites

A reduction in services is in effect until April 15th, at some of the developed recreation sites on the Mesa Ranger District. This is a seasonal reduction for services including; “no vehicle access, trash pick-up, no available toilets, & no drinking water where water was previously provided.”

The reduced recreation site areas include:
Lower Salt River Recreation Area; Goldfield, Pebble Beach, & Water Users.
Canyon Lake Recreation Area; Tortilla Flat Campground, Laguna, & Boulder Keyhole.

These recreation sites will remain open, but require Tonto passes:
Lower Salt River Recreation Area; Blue Point, Coon Bluff, Phon D Sutton, & Granite Reef.
Canyon Lake Recreation Area; Palo Verde, Acacia, & Boulder (Front Parking Lot).
Saguaro Lake Recreation Area; Saguaro Del Norte & Butcher Jones.
