Full Moon Hike At San Tan Mountain Regional Park

May 9th, 2013

The Stargazer Trail (2.2-mile roundtrip) is appropriately named for the Full Moon Hike’s the San Mountain Tan Regional Park offers, but the moonlight cascading on the park is what you’ll really want to look at while hearing the sounds of the wild & getting good exercise in the process. The next Full Moon Hike is May 24th. Please bring water, a flashlight, & wear proper shoes for hiking. The hike is free, but there’s a $6 vehicle park entry fee. The hike starts at 8 pm and ends at 9:30 pm. Hikers are to meet at the Visitor Center at San Mountain Tan Regional Park located at 6533 W. Phillips Rd. in Queen Creek.
