The response to the Community Clean-up to get the area looking nice for the Globe Historic Home & Building Tour tghat took place on March 9th & 10th, was tremendous! It started with a clean-up day on March 2nd, with volunteers removing trash along Highway 60. It didn’t stop there, dumpsters were placed at numerous areas in Globe so residents could get rid of items before the Tour. By the time it was all said and done, 23.14 tons of trash and 179 tires were collected.
