Guided Medicinal Desert Plants Walk

You can take a guided Medicinal Desert Plants Walk at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. The walk is a one-hour, slow-paced tour of the Curandero Trail. The next walk is May 27th. The Curandero Trail does have steep areas that are not easily navigable for anyone using a wheelchair or walker. The walk begins at 8 am. Admission is $12.50 (free to BTA annual members, and also free if you have an Arizona State Parks pass) for adults & $5 for ages 5-12. Children 4 years of age and younger are free. The cost of admission includes weekend guided nature walks. Boyce Thompson Arboretum is located west of Superior on Highway 60 at Milepost #223 & about one hour due east of Phoenix on the Superstition Freeway.
