Moonlight Hike At San Tan Mountain Regional Park

September 8th, 2014

The Stargazer Trail (2.2-miles) at San Mountain Tan Regional Park is appropriately named. The moonlight cascading on the Sonoran Desert is truly a sight to behold. You’ll also hear the sounds of the wild as they pierce the tranquility while getting good exercise in the process. The Full Moon Hike is Oct. 10th. Please bring water, a flashlight, & wear proper shoes for hiking. The hike is free, but there’s a $6 vehicle park entry fee. The hike starts at 8 pm and ends at 9:30 pm. Hikers are to meet at the flag pole at 6533 W. Phillips Rd. in Queen Creek.
