Delbert Richard Upshaw, 80, passed away on April 25th. A wake is being held on May 1st, at Upshaw's residence in Rainbow City at 4 pm. The funeral will take place at the LDS Church in San Carlos on May 2nd, at 2 pm. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery - Mormon Hill Rd.

The service will be held on May 3rd, at 9 am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami. She will be interred at the Globe Cemetery.

Michael Joseph "Bear" Curtis, 58, passed away on April 22nd. The visitation will be held on April 30th, from 1 pm to 3 pm in the chapel at 328 S. Hill St. in Globe. A wake wil be held at the Ray Curtis residence near the Skill Center in Cutter at 4 pm on April 30th. The service will be at 10 am on May 1st, at the Cutter Church. The interment will be at Mormon Hill San Carlos Cemetery.

Raymond "Monie" J. Ramirez, Sr., 63, passed away on April 24th. The visitation will be at 9 am on May 3rd, at the Holy Angels Catholic Church followed by the rosary at 9:30 am, and the mass at 10 am. The Holy Angels Catholic Church is located at 201 S. Broad St. in Globe.

He will be interred at the Globe Cemetery on Hackney Ave. in Globe.

Lamarr A. Ralyea, 68, passed away on April 15th. The service will be a private affair.

Mary Lou Rickabaugh, 78, passed away on Feb. 22nd. A memorial service is taking place on April 24th, at the Central Heights Baptist Church at 2 pm. The Central Heights Baptist Church is located at 5468 S. Apache Ave. in Globe (Central Heights).

Joe L. Diaz, 54, passed away on April 16th. The visitation will be at 6 pm on April 23rd, followed by the rosary at 7 pm at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. Sam Hinton Sr., 73, passed away on April 10th. The wake will begin at 4 pm on April 17th, at Hinton's residence in Peridot. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm on April 18th, at San Carlos Miracle Church. The interment will be in the Lower Peridot/Six Mile Cemetery.

Wilma Carol Steinke, 85, passed away on April 13th. The visitation has been scheduled for April 17th, at the LDS Stake Center in Globe for 2 pm to 3 pm with the service starting at 3 pm. She will be interred at the Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens on Highway 60 in Miami.

Wilma was the first certified woman officer for the Gila County Sheriffs' Office.

Joey Margo, 59, passed away on April 8th. A wake will begin at Margo's residence in Peridot on April 17th, at 6 am. The service will also be held at Margo's residence, but it will start at 10 am on April 17th. He will be interred in the Upper Peridot Cemetery in Peridot.

Elias Y. Garcia, 79, passed away on April 10th.

Elias had a long career with the Town of Miami starting in June 1956 until his retirement as Mayor in 2004. He served as Public Works Director, Councilman, Vice Mayor, & Mayor. He also served as a volunteer fireman for the Miami Fire Dept.

The visitation will be at 9 am on April 16th, followed by the rosary at 9:30 am, with the mass starting at 10 am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament at 844 W. Sullivan St. in Miami. He will be interred at the Globe Cemetery on Hackney Ave. in Globe.

Olive Harrington, 79, passed away on April 10th. The visitation is going to be on April 15th, at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe starting at 6 pm, with the rosary following at 7 pm. The service will begin at 10 am on April 16th, at the Holy Angels Catholic Church. The interment will be in the Oddfellows Section of the Old Globe Cemetery in Globe.
