Downtown Superior is going to be a spooky site on Oct. 29th, with a Halloween Costume Parade and Truck or Treat. Please Note: “Parade line up will begin at 3:30pm at the corner of Lime and Magma Avenues. (Please note, line up will not be held at the Courthouse due to safety regulations). The parade will leave at 4:00pm.
Those planning on decorating a trunk for the Trunk or Treat should arrive at 3:00pm and are asked to enter Main St. at the intersection of Kellner and Main. The event location will be blocked off to street traffic at 3:00pm. Pre-Registration is requested for the Trunk or Treat to ensure that enough spaces are blocked off and to ensure the event is set up safely. The community costume contest will begin following the parade and a brief dance performance flash mob. Line up for the costume contest will be on Neary Avenue and the contestants will show their costumes to the judges in Besich Park. Prizes will be awarded for several categories in each age group.
The VFW Post will be hosting a carnival games and a haunted house inside the Post. The event is expected to run through 7:00pm.”
