Two Dead, Two Injured In Globe Bar Shooting

UPDATE, 11/15/18: Ashley Sanchez, 22, has passed away.


UPDATE, 11/13/18: The names of the victims have been released. Cristi Licano, 44, and Daniel Albo, 22, are the two who were killed. Ashley Sanchez and Charlene Peak were shot and flown to the valley. Ashley remains in critical condition. Charlene is in stable condition. There was another person, Scott Mills, who was shot at, but not struck.

The gunman had been cut off from being served more alcohol prior to exiting the bar and returning with the gun.


Law enforcement officials are confident they have the person in custody who killed two and injured two others at a bar in Globe. The shooting occurred late last night on Nov. 11th, at Jammerz. Three of the victims were shot on the patio where they had gone to smoke. The two killed were a 44-year-old woman and 22-year-old man. Two victims, both female, were flown to the valley where they are in critical condition. All four victims were patrons. Their names are not being released yet so family members can be notified. The suspect had reportedly been playing billiards with the victims last night prior to the shooting. Police caught up with the suspect on the San Carlos Apache Reservation. Information from the scene has placed Sterling Randall Hunt as the primary suspect. He is currently in San Carlos PD custody on unrelated charges. Globe Chief of Police Dale Walters used a semi-automatic handgun.

Another press conference is scheduled for approx. 1 pm on Nov. 13th.
