The fire is west of Bartlett Lake. As of now, “Bartlett Lake recreation sites are evacuated and Bartlett Dam Road is closed.” Additionally, “Bartlett Dam Road is closed westbound at Cave Creek Road due to wildfire.” The fire is roughly 3,000 acres with no containment. A part of the plan is to, “Continue working to slow fire spread, protect APS power lines, Bartlett Lake Marina, MCSO aid station and private property.”
