Globe Police Department Dispatch To Be Handled By Gila County Sheriff’s Office

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office will begin full dispatch duties for the Globe Police Department on Sept. 16th. The Globe Police Department has sent a release addressing this matter:

“The Globe Police Department will no longer provide dispatch services to the Globe community. On Wednesday, September 16, 2015 the dispatch services will be handled by the Gila County Sheriff’s Office.

If a person needs to contact the police department Please dial 425-4449 and press 1 for the Gila County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center. Provide your information to the dispatcher and a police officer from the Globe Police Department will respond to the given location. IF your call is an emergency Please dial 911 and the call will go to the Gila County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center.

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office and the Globe Police Department have been working on the regional dispatch services for approximately 3 and one half months. We are pleased with the transition and will provide friendly customer service to the entire Globe and Gila County area.

The Globe Police Department will have officers available 24 hours a day. A person can call the Sheriff’s Office to schedule to meet with an officer at the Globe Police Department.
