Restrictions for the eastbound and westbound lanes from Santee Street on US 60 to Us 70 will be in effect from Sept. 22nd, until Sept. 25th. This is for a pavement rehabilitation project. They are working from 6 am to 4:30 pm each day, weather depending. Rolling lane restrictions should be anticipated throughout the work zone. The speed limit will be 25 mph. Restrictions are expected to be in place for approx. 21 days.

“Motorists and businesses should also plan for temporary restrictions to local roads for ramp and gutter work. Drivers can expect the following:
Traffic exiting South Street onto US 60 will be closed for approximately 21 days.
Drivers may use posted detours to Seventh Street to access US 60.
Traffic entering South Street from US 60 will remain open.
Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
Schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.”
