Join Ranger Olivia at Cave Creek Regional Park as she shares knowledge of the Sonoran Desert during the winter holiday season. This program is Dec. 6th, from 12:30 pm to 3 pm at Cave Creek Regional Park. Registration is not required. This is included in the park entry fee. You’ll “learn about some of the festive plants that grow in the Sonoran Desert, and how our critters survive the cold.” So, “Get in the Holiday spirit by learning about plants like Desert Mistletoe, Christmas Cactus, and more in this casual family friendly program.” They “will also discuss how our animals can survive the colder weather of the desert, and why they chose to stay.” Cave Creek Regional Park is located at 37019 N. Lava Lane.
