You can take a guided Edible and Medicinal Desert Plants Walk at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. The walk is a one-hour, slow-paced tour of the Curandero Trail. The Curandero Trail does have steep areas that are not easily navigable for anyone using a wheelchair or walker. The walk is held on the first Sunday & second Saturday of each month. The walk begins at 1:30 pm. Admission is $15 (free to BTA annual members) for adults & $5 for ages 5-12. Children 4 years of age and younger are free. The walk is $3 for members & $5 for non-members. The cost of admission includes weekend guided nature walks. Boyce Thompson Arboretum is located at 37615 E. Arboretum Way on US Highway 60, west of Superior near Milepost #223.
