The USDA Forest Service has finished their Report of Investigation (ROI) pertaining to the Telegraph Fire. They were unable to determine the origin and cause of the fire. The fire started near Superior on June 4th, 2021, then rapidly grew eastward causing evacuations between there and Winkelman. The fire burned 180,757 acres and destroyed multiple structures by the time it was 100 % contained on July 3rd.
