Apache Junction’s annual ‘Holiday Program & Light Parade’ is Dec. 6th. You don’t want to miss Santa, the inflatables, games, entertainment, vendors, food, & more! The event is from 3 pm to 6:30 pm at Flatiron Park at 100 N. Apache Trail and free to attend (donation of 1 non-perishable food item for the Apache Junction Food Bank would be appreciated). The Tree Lighting Ceremony is at 6:30 pm at the Focal Point (NE corner of Old West Highway and Phelps). The Light Parade starts at 7 pm and “begins at Phelps/Main Street heads west to Gold Dr, turns and comes back to Phelps Road. Expect road closures will be from Idaho to Ironwood from about 5pm to 10pm or until roads are clear and can safely be open.”
