Pinal County’s Public Health Clinics are able to provide routine tuberculosis (TB) screenings with the PPD (TB Skin Test) immunization for $12. According to Pinal County Public Health, the reason for the screening being “routine” is due to professions including medical caregivers, childcare workers, & teachers requiring regular TB screenings. You will need to return to the clinic where the skin test was done approx. 2 to 3 days after it’s administered. So you’ll need to plan accordingly. The screening can be done at most physician’s offices and urgent care centers as well. For more information, please call 1-866-960-0633.
