The Apache Junction Parks & Recreation Department has a lot of great things planned for July 4th. It starts at the Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center with open swim from 9 am to 3 pm. The fun continues when, “The gates will open at 6 pm Superstition Shadows Park – This is a free event, open to the public (a small fee for food and game booths will apply). Game booths, hosted by local organizations and activities for kids will take place at the field starting at 6pm.” The fireworks begin at 8:30 pm right there at Superstition Shadows Park. The events are located at 1091 W. Southern Ave., Apache Junction. Please follow the link for more information about the event.
