The Apache Junction Parks & Recreation Department has a lot of great things planned for July 4th. It starts at the Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center with open swim from 9 am to 3 pm. The fun continues when, “The gates will open at 6:00pm. All event activities will run from 6pm until 8:15pm, and will include vendor booths, field and water games, inflatables, free watermelon sponsored by Apache Junction Little League, and more!” ‘Outside The Line’ will perform from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The fireworks begin at 8:30 pm right there at Superstition Shadows Park. The events are located at 1091 W. Southern Ave., Apache Junction.
