First Friday is returning to downtown Globe to ring in the Holidays! The following list of First Friday fun is provided by the City of Globe:
“This Friday, December 5th, Downtown Globe is lighting up with Christmas cheer for a very special First Friday!
Join us for festive business specials, live music, a Christmas market, great food, and the return of our community tree lighting.
Starting at 12 p.m., vendors and food trucks begin setting up.
At 3 p.m., Oak Street Market and the Food Truck Round-Up officially open, along with DJ James at the CVCA Bandstand and the Sunset Highway Band performing at the Food Truck Lot.
At 5 p.m., take a cruise down Broad Street, see if you can spot Santa rolling through!
Then at 6 p.m., join us at the CVCA Bandstand for the Community Christmas Tree Lighting, followed by caroling with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Carolers.
At 7 p.m., head inside the CVCA Theater for the Copper Cities Community Players’ live performance of “The Christmas Elf: How Chuckles Saved the Day.”
Businesses throughout downtown will be offering holiday specials, including
Pretty Kind Boutique, Vida e Caffé, and The Huddle.
And don’t miss the Holiday Scavenger Hunt! Check the GoToGlobe Facebook page on December 5th for the list, snap photos of your finds, and share them using #HolidayScavengerHunt25.
Plus! If you’re 21 and older, you can join the Reindeer Run Christmas Spirit Biz Crawl. Your $5 admission includes a pair of antlers, entry into the Holiday Spirit Contest, and a chance to support the Globe-Miami United Fund Flood Relief Fundraiser!
It’s all happening this Friday in Historic Downtown Globe, where community, holiday magic, and local spirit come together.
Come celebrate the season with us!”
