The City of Globe has issued a statement addressing the ongoing sign code violations that have been observed. The statement is as follows:
“Globe City Code 12-4-2 B 1 prohibits the following signs in the City limits.
A. “A” frame signs and portable signs of any nature.
B. Vehicle signs on business or commercial vehicles primarily or consistently parked for display as advertising signs.
The City of Globe is asking anyone displaying signs in violation of City code to remove the signs effective July 1, 2013. Any signs not removed after this date will be subject to further action including removal by the City.
