It will be another wonderful season to take to the sidewalks for a stroll together throughout historic downtown Globe. Equally fun for photographers and participants alike!
The “Easter Parade” is based on the classic holiday movie and song with the old tradition of taking a stroll to welcome in Spring. Think wonderful hats, parasols, finery and fun. Dress yourself, your family & friends and/or your pets to impress for this walking parade/stroll down and around historic Broad Street. Participants promenade from the train depot complex to walk the sidewalks making the grand loop this year back to the depot museum for treats.
Check-in & photo ops with the Easter Bunny are between 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the historic train depot, 230 S. Broad Street. The walking stroll starts at about 10:00 am. Please take your time to greet spectators and downtown merchants alike, stopping into the shops to extend your warm “Happy Easter” greetings, and window shop along the way. You never know where surprises might be hiding along the way!
Find the Easter Bunny and his friends throughout the event ready for free photo ops galore, and don’t forget the fabulously fun trivia scavenger hunt!
The Easter Parade event is free to the public and a rain or shine event sponsored by the Globe Downtown Association/Historic Globe Main Street Program.
