The Globe Police Department is informing residents of an I.R.S scam that has been making its way through the community. The scam has been attempted by way of text messages and via land lines. The information that comes in to the land line is the same as the text message. Please note, the I.R.S will not contact you in the form of a text message. If you receive the information, do not send money to the provided address.
